Our signature parenting programs combine the research-backed Active Parenting curriculum with nervous system regulation education from Constance's books Rooted and Ready Parenting and What I Need You to Know: A Child's Guide to Parenting, all woven through the framework of the 8 Pillars of Wellness. These classes teach you not just what to do as a parent, but why it works based on how children's brains and nervous systems develop—and how to support your child's wellbeing across every dimension of their life.

This is parenting education that finally makes sense—because it's grounded in understanding how stress, trauma, and regulation shape behavior in both you and your children, while recognizing that true wellness requires attention to emotional, physical, social, intellectual, spiritual, occupational, environmental, and financial health.

Class 1: Rooted & Regulated Parenting: Birth to 5

Building a foundation of safety, secure attachment, and holistic wellness in the early years

The first five years shape a child's nervous system for life and establish patterns across all 8 Pillars of Wellness. This class helps you understand infant and toddler brain development, recognize when your little one is dysregulated (not "misbehaving"), respond in ways that build secure attachment and emotional resilience, and nurture your child's development across every dimension of their wellbeing.

This perspective shift changes everything.

Class 2: Rooted & Regulated Parenting: Ages 5-17

Navigating childhood and adolescence with nervous system awareness and holistic wellness

From kindergarten through high school, children face increasingly complex challenges across all dimensions of their wellbeing that trigger stress responses in both their nervous systems and yours. This class teaches you how to parent through behavioral challenges, emotional storms, peer pressure, academic stress, and teenage independence-seeking while keeping connection, regulation, and holistic wellness at the center.

This isn't a one-size-fits-all parenting formula. You'll learn to understand your child's unique nervous system, recognize your regulation patterns, assess which of the 8 Pillars of Wellness needs attention when challenges arise, and develop strategies that work for your family. We honor that every child and every parent brings different wiring, experiences, and needs to the parenting relationship.

The class integrates stories and wisdom from What I Need You to Know: A Child's Guide to Parenting, helping you see parenting from your child's perspective and understand what they really need from you at different ages and stages across all dimensions of their wellbeing.

Unique 8 Pillars Approach:

Instead of addressing behavioral issues in isolation, you'll learn to ask: "Which pillar of wellness is struggling right now?" Is your child's defiance actually about unmet social needs? Is the academic struggle really about sleep deprivation (physical wellness) or anxiety (emotional wellness)? This holistic lens helps you address root causes, not just symptoms.
